In collaboration with House & Leisure Magazine, Neimil was invited to design and interpret a chair that reflected both personal creativity and the brand's unique aesthetic. The brief challenged designers to create a piece that was true to themselves while reimagining what a chair could be.

For Neimil, the inspiration came from corals under the sea and the breathtaking landscapes that nature offers us. Just as coral reefs form intricate, living sculptures beneath the ocean, the chair was envisioned as an organic extension of the earth - a design that feels both grounded and alive.

The palette drew from the natural world: terracotta, greens, earthy tones, and coral blues blended together to echo the textures and colors of soil, stone, plants, and sea. These tones gave the piece both vibrancy and calm, balancing boldness with serenity.

The result was a chair that is more than furniture - it is a reflection of Neimil's ethos: to tell stories through form, texture, and material. Inspired by nature yet reinterpreted through a modern African lens, the chair becomes a celebration of craft, imagination, and place.
